Greetings !
The onus being on holistic preparation of nurses, the Harsh School of Nursing was established in the year 2010 and higher studies division Harsh Institute of Nursing was established in the year 2021 with the twin objective of empowering Nurses with quality education and manpower development. The Hon'ble founder president and my father Mr.Janardhanji Hend Patil, is the pillar and founder of this institution.
This nursing institute was established as a “Center Of Excellence” for nursing education at the international & National level through quality approach, professional development and research. Harsh Institute of Nursing strives to provide the best nursing education that combines the development of cognitive, affective as well as psychomotor domains of learning by adapting to recent technological advances.
We prepare and mould the students to be not merely a caregiver, but also a confident and highly resourceful persons who can proficiently handle the 'state-of-the-art' equipment in the hospital. Endowed with the unique qualities of love, courage and mercy which are the hallmark of the nurse, our Harsh Institute Nurses are much in demand in today's modern health care system.
I am glad to state that our college offers three Nursing programmes namely Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Nursing and General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) and Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery (ANM) We have qualified, meritorious and well experienced faculty along with best physical infrastructure facilities & well equipped laboratories We at Harsh Institute of Nursing also appreciate the importance of all around development of students for which we organize various co-curricular and extracurricular activities at inter university, State & National level.
I am proud to state that our college alumni are placed in various small and large Health Care Establishments. Most of our passed out students are also selected in Central and State Government jobs. Many of our alumni have returned to this college for higher studies. Students of Harsh Institute of Nursing are welcomingly sought by the various placement agencies as they have been recruited through campus interviews for hospitals.
